We had the pleasure of welcoming Gerry from @ceisttrust to our school this afternoon to see all the wonderful work happening here in Mercy, especially as we celebrated CEILIÚRADH CEIST Day. Gerry had the opportunity to chat with staff and students, visit our new gym, and see the wide range of activities taking place throughout the day. We hope you enjoyed your visit and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.

Today, Room 11 was transformed into a calm and welcoming space for prayer and reflection. Students were invited to take time out to pause, reflect and engage in moments of quiet prayer, supported by mindfulness colouring activities that encouraged stillness, focus and wellbeing. It was a meaningful opportunity for students to slow down, reconnect and care for their spiritual and emotional wellbeing.

Our theme for this year is “Together in Hope, Inspired by Faith, Transformed by Love — Schools, Homes and Parishes Working Together.”

This reminds us that we are not on our own. Hope helps us to keep going, even when things are challenging. Faith guides our choices and reminds us of what really matters. Love shows itself in the small things — kindness, patience, understanding, and support for one another.
