What a week for football here in Mercy! Our 1st Year girls football team won their final against St Marks 1-0 and the U15s Boys team played their final against St Killians winning 4-3. We had the pleasure of welcoming Gerry from @ceisttrust to our school this afternoon to see all the wonderful work happening here in Mercy, especially as we celebrated CEILIÚRADH CEIST Day . Gerry had the opportunity to chat with staff and students, visit our new gym, and see the wide range of activities taking place throughout the day. Our first-year students are currently taking part in an attendance drive aimed at encouraging full attendance between now and the February mid-term break. Students who achieve 100% attendance during this period will receive a Gold Award, while those with 90–99% attendance will receive a Silver Award. Students who achieve 80–89% attendance will receive a Bronze Award. This initiative is designed to promote positive attendance habits and recognise student commitment.
